Haus of Kühl Is Coming to Nairobi and It Is Going to Be a Proper Night Out

Nairobi is about to experience something it has not seen before. Haus of Kühl, Jägermeister's experiential cultural platform, arrives in the city for the first time on Saturday, 26 September 2026, taking over Sk8City at Diamond Plaza 2 from 6 PM to 4 AM. This is its first entry into the East African market, and if its track record in South Africa is anything to go by, Nairobi is in for a serious night.

For context: Haus of Kühl, which translates from German as House of Cool, was first introduced in South Africa in 2023 and has since grown through multi-city tours and special editions across Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. Nairobi is the next chapter, and the city was clearly chosen with intention.

What Haus of Kühl Actually Is

This is not a standard club night with a brand logo on the flyer. Haus of Kühl is Jägermeister's dedicated cultural platform, built around the idea that music, nightlife, fashion, art and creative community belong in the same room at the same time. The experiences it creates deliberately blur the lines between performance, installation and celebration, turning a venue into something closer to a world of its own for one night.

Ephraim Manana Snr, Culture and Experiential Marketing Manager at Jägermeister, described what bringing the platform to Nairobi means:

 "Nairobi is a city with such a powerful and constantly evolving creative pulse. We wanted to create an experience that goes beyond music and brings together the many different worlds that make culture what it is, from music and dance to fashion, art, discovery and community. Haus of Kühl is about creating a space where these worlds can collide for established and emerging creatives to share the same platform." 

He added, with characteristic Jägermeister energy: "And of course have a shot while doing it."

The Lineup: 36 Kenyan Performers and Two South African Headliners

The Nairobi edition is built around scale and range. South African acts KMAT and MfanaTouchLine headline alongside a lineup of over 36 Kenyan performers across music, dance and DJ sets. Hosts Mariah and Sameer Bry will guide the night, with singer Iyanah and dancers Ian Tico and Thee Iconic among the standout Kenyan names on the bill.

The DJ roster is extensive: Basthma, Burugu, Calvin The Curator, Coco Kahi, DJ Lyta, DJ Mani, DJ Rayma, Hiribae, Jayeda, JM1, Kamz, Kaneda, Kiptala, Kurtiss E, Love, Mani, Monzo, Mura, Mtu Solo, Mr. Arkitech, N!k, Njeri wa Baaba and Santa Currie, Safari Oontz Collective, Selekta V, Selo, Shi, Sir M and Mista C, Suraj, The Vibe Initiator, Tinashe The DJ, Wembe Waves and Zhai. That is a distinctly Kenyan sound brought into a global framework, which is exactly the point.

Multiple Stages, Multiple Worlds

Sk8City will be transformed into a multi-dimensional space across several distinct zones, each with its own atmosphere and purpose.

The Main Stage is where the headliners and Nairobi's top Meisters come together for the centrepiece celebration of the night. The Dance Stage runs a different energy entirely: raw, high-voltage, underground. Dedicated to the subcultures and sounds pushing Nairobi's nightlife into its next era, it is the stage for discovery as much as dancing.

The Silent Disco, curated by Studio Can-V, takes things into a different dimension altogether, with emerging DJs from across the Studio Can-V network going head to head in a format that rewards curiosity. For something more intimate, the Manifest Speakeasy offers a secret retreat inspired by the world of Jägermeister Manifest, complete with tarot readings, lounging and a deliberately slower pace designed for the guests who want to step away from the dancefloor without leaving the experience.

Fashion gets its own dedicated space in the Meister Market, a curated streetwear pop-up celebrating Nairobi's rising Fashion Meisters, Pesos and HAGT, with Art Meisters bringing the space to life through original Haus of Kühl artwork. Selected designs will be available as complimentary screen-printed merchandise that guests can customise and take home, alongside exclusive brand collaborations and limited-edition pieces. A Gaming Zone rounds things out, with giant Jenga and console battles up for grabs alongside Jägermeister merchandise and prizes.

Finally, and worth highlighting, the Safe Now Zone provides a dedicated wellbeing space where guests can pause, hydrate, recharge and access support from the event team. It is a thoughtful addition to a night built around immersion, a calm anchor point designed to ensure everyone can enjoy the experience responsibly and return to the action when they are ready.

A Cultural Milestone for Nairobi's Nightlife

What Haus of Kühl is attempting in Nairobi is something the city's creative scene is genuinely ready for: a night that treats nightlife as culture, not just entertainment. By placing music, dance, fashion, art and community under one roof and giving emerging and established creatives equal footing on the same platform, it makes a case for Nairobi as one of Africa's most important creative cities.
