The Covo weekend has wrapped, but Tusker Oktobafest is far from done. East Africa’s biggest beer festival keeps its nationwide tour going through November, with four more stops lined up in Mombasa, Ugunja and Nakuru. If you missed the party at Covo, Kahawa Sukari, there is still plenty of festival left.
Where Oktobafest Is Heading Next
Having already stopped in Eldoret, Nanyuki, Mombasa and Nairobi, the tour now moves on to these upcoming editions:
- 1922, Mombasa: Sunday, 1 November
- Nebraska, Ugunja: Saturday, 7 November
- Space Next Door, Nakuru: Saturday, 14 November
- Big Tree, Mombasa: Saturday, 21 November
Entry to Oktobafest events is free, so all you need to do is gather your crew and show up. As always, enjoy responsibly.
What to Expect at Every Stop
Each edition brings together Kenyan beer, live music and urban culture. The Covo weekend set the tone, with offers across the KBL portfolio and a free entertainment lineup that included DJ Lisney, Willie Paul, Njerae and Codeblack. The same spirit carries through the remaining dates, with homegrown talent and a relaxed festival atmosphere.
The beer lineup spans more than ten varieties from Kenya’s leading brands, including Tusker Lager, Tusker Malt, Tusker Lite, Tusker Cider, Guinness, Balozi, Manyatta, WhiteCap, WhiteCap Crisp and Pilsner. Whether you lean towards a crisp lager, a stout, a cider or a malt, there is something to suit every taste.
Offers Beyond the Festival Grounds
You do not have to be at a venue to benefit. Beer lovers can also look out for flash sales and exclusive discounts on their favourite Kenya Breweries Limited beers, available at supermarkets and select e-commerce partners throughout the celebration.
A Festival With Real Local Roots
Conceptualised in 2019, Tusker Oktobafest is now in its seventh year and is positioned as Kenya’s only mainstream festival celebrating vibrant local culture. Its mix of beer, music and homegrown talent from across Kenya and East Africa has made it a fixture on the calendar, and taking it to towns beyond Nairobi has made it more accessible to fans across the country.
With the Mombasa, Ugunja and Nakuru dates still ahead, there are four more chances to see what the festival is about. Mark your calendar, bring your people and make the most of the final weeks of the beer month.
